Carys Evans

Carys graduated in Fine Art from Swansea Metropolitan University in 2013.

Working from her studio is Swansea, her paintings, predominantly of the female figure and birds, are the result of prolonged working and reworking of layers of paint.

Her influences include her tutor, Sue Williams, Paul Rego, Shani Rhys James and Gwen John.

She has previously had successful exhibitions at Cardiff's Kooywood gallery, when it was open, and also had work accepted into the RWA and RA Summer Exhibition
