'I have always had an obsessive compulsion to create - in everything I see a playful alternative - I was the child who saw faces in wallpaper patterns and characters in objects. These pieces, reminiscent of such childhood nostalgia and born from a love of natural history museums, use papercraft (formed from old science textbook pages), insects and found items to express my curious imaginations.'
